Length

Define threshold, minimum and maximum Length constraints for each swath.

  • Threshold:  If an acquisition is shorter than the defined threshold, it will be cancelled
  • Maximum:  If an acquisition is longer than the defined maximum, it will be shortened to comply with the constraint.
  • Minimum: If an acquisition is shorter, then it will be extended to comply with the constraint
  • Gap: Optional minimum interruption interval in the acquisition sequence. For example, some satellites can acquire a maximum strip length, and then interrupt acquisition for a given Gap time, needed for emptying their on-board flash memory into the recorder, prior to restart acquiring.
  • Trim Side: Defines the side for applying the constraint, whether end of swath, start of swath or center (both sides). It is also possible to select two additional options
    • REMOVE: will delete the conflicting item from the collection with attempting to resize it
    • MAX COVER: will select new start and end times maximizing area coverage.
No Constraint Length Constraint: Min = 100 km, Max = 600 km
Trim Side = START Trim Side = CENTER Trim Side = END
